A class-AB linear transconductor with enhanced linearity

In this paper a novel linear transconductor topology is proposed, where class-AB behavior based on adaptive biasing exploited to improve the range. The circuit Winner-Take-All already used for OTAs, and optimized linearity, proposed features gain control input tunability. provides of 43 ?S while consuming 70 ?W. range (1% variation dc transconductance gain) 470 mVpp, about 4.5 times larger than corresponding class-A cell. Total harmonic distortion improved by 15 dB, good results in terms linearity noise are reported with respect state-of-the-art. Simulations Gm-C biquad filter also validate design.
